IEP Basics for Parents of Students with Learning Disabilities -- This toolkit includes the IEP Meeting Planner with checklist starting on page 8 distributed by National Center for Learning Disabilities, Inc.

 
 
 
IEP Goal Bank -- this is a website with a list of IEP measureable goals per educational curriculum topics/subjects to assist both teachers and parents.  Great examples for all ages.

SEPTA Buddy Program (not currently active)
SEPTA’s Buddy Program is our core inspirational program. It will offer a unique opportunity to provide mentors from all our schools in hopes to make lasting friendships and provide encouragement and support to children in need. The mentoring partnerships are designed to motivate and inspire our children to be all they can be.  (Additional information and request forms found under SEPTA Programs)

The Sibling Support Project
The Sibling Support Project of the Arc of the US includes SibNet and SibKids, the Internet's only listservs for and about brothers and sisters of people with special health, developmental, and emotional needs. Both SibKids (for younger siblings) and SibNet (for older siblings) allow brothers and sisters an opportunity to connect with their peers from around the world. They are warm, thoughtful, and informative communities where young and adult brothers and sisters share information and discuss issues of common interest. Anyone who has email can subscribe.
