Please join the 6th grade students of LMS at our 15th Annual Cultural Museum Experience on June 5th & 6th from 6PM - 8PM. Each evening will be filled with amazing tours through student created exhibits, delightful storytellings, art and technology demonstrations, and delicious refreshments. There is also a CME store to purchase our handmade products. Click the headline above for more information. You won’t want to miss a night at the museum!
We would like each fifth grade student to contribute an image that is black and white or sepia tone (brown). The photograph should be of family members who immigrated to the United States. Dates and country of origin can be included in a caption. Family member names are optional. Photographs can be from the United States or your heritage country. Photos can be in color. Family members should be in traditional dress, if possible.
We would like all parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers and family members to join the fifth grade students to celebrate our diverse heritages and unique attributes. Because of our differences and distinctive backgrounds, we live in a country that consists of people with rich and fascinating histories. Please join us at the Lower Middle School to celebrate this history and all that brings us together. We will have amazing projects, food, music, dancing and much more. Further details will follow in the upcoming months so make sure to check the school website and your children’s backpack for information.
To all my aspiring 5th and 6th graders, I hope your summer vacation is off to a great start. I have been doing some reading since you have left and I believe I have found a book you might wish to consider reading during your summer vacation! Follow along as I read "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio. Click the headline above for more details.
The Message Line will have a taped message in the event of an unexpected school closing. A link to district emergency procedures can be found in our "Site Shortcuts" section just to the left as "Inclement Weather Info". Please continue to follow all guidelines outlined by the police department and State of New Jersey for the safety and security of your home.
LMS would like to assist students in saving projects and documents correctly at home so that they are compatible with the software we are using here in the school. Click the title above for detailed instructions on how to correctly save your work.
