Montgomery Township School District uses this website for general communications. In addition, MTSD also uses two other methods to deliver personalized electronic communications, Parent Resources/Student Resources and Alert Now (to be replaced by BlackboardConnect on 4-1-2013) for email and phone notification.

The information you receive via Parent Resources and Student Resources comes from Genesis, our Student Information System. Parent Resources and Student Resources are designed to provide users with the ability to:

• View basic student information, schedule, homeroom teacher, bus route
• View Attendance Information
• View assignments and grades from the teacher Gradebook (applicable for grades 5-12)
• Update your contact information (Parent Resources only)
• View Marking Period Grades and Report Cards

Alert Now (to be replaced by Blackboard Connect on 4-1-2013) used for emails and phone notifications also uses Genesis for the contact information. It is important that parents on a regular basis follow the instruction provided to update their contact information so that you receive notifications on a regular basis.
