Today is an A– Day

International Foods will meet after school tomorrow, Thursday, May 23rd to explore the customs of India while making “Gulab Jamun”.

Intramural Basketball will meet after school tomorrow, Thursday, May 23^rd. 

8^th Graders:  The Frogbridge Permission slip and payment are due to your homeroom teacher by Monday, June 3^rd.  The permission slip is located on the UMS website or you can pick up a copy in the Main Office.

The Montgomery High School Student Council will be hosting our 7^th annual Locks of Love event at the high school on Monday, June 3^rd  from 10AM t0 6PM.  You are invited to donate at least 7 inches of hair (preferably 10 or more) to help this great cause to make wigs for children and teens who suffer from medical hair loss.  If you are interested, please pick up a form in the main office and return no later than May 24^th.  

Box Tops for Education:  Our Boxtops drive is an ongoing project here in Montgomery Schools.  Please check your Box Tops and turn them in by May 27^th.  Box Tops do expire.  This is your last chance to hand in Box Tops that are expiring 5/31/13-9/30/13.   Each Box Top is worth $.10 for the PTO to help fund special activities and programs for UMS/LMS students.  Please secure your boxtops in packs of 50 with  rubber bands or paper clips.   We have raised over $2650 this year!  Don’t forget to keep clipping your Box Tops over the summer!

A Volleyball Clinic will be held for UMS students today, Wednesday,

May 22^nd.   The event is run by the MHS Varsity Volleyball Team. 

Attention 8^th Graders:  The Fall sports meetings for MHS will be held on May 30^th  and  June 11^th here at UMS.  The meetings are as follows:

On May 30^th Girls Volleyball will meet in the Gym.

On June 6^th Gymnastics will meet in B116 

On June 11^th Field Hockey and Cross Country in the Gym; Boys and Girls Soccer in the Cafeteria

All meetings will end at 4:00PM.

Sports Physicals will be given on May 29^th after school.  If you are planning to participate in a sport at UMS or MHS during the 2013(14) school year, sports physicals will be given here at UMS on May 29^th.
