On Nov. 3rd & 4th, the students of Village School took part in a Mock Presidential  election.

The students were able to vote in an actual voting booth using a computer database to keep track of their votes.  Classroom teachers, as well as, our morning news program covered important topics like voter privacy prior to voting.  The results were announced at the end of the school day on Tuesday, November 4th.

A total of 742 students voted.  Obama received 460 votes and McCain received 282 votes.
The event was also covered by the Courier News. Below is a link to the article online, as well as, in PDF form.
