All rising 7th and 8th graders can find their summer math assignments & answer keys on the "Summer Assignments" tab of the UMS Math Department website.
The purpose of these summer assignments is to provide practice on the concepts and skills needed for success in 7th and 8th grade mathematics courses at UMS. It is highly recommended that students complete this packet and check their answers against the answer keys provided. Summertime is a great opportunity for students to review any math skills found in this packet that are not yet secure. This packet will not be collected nor graded.

The Food Pantry is located at Otto Kaufman Community Center. It is located on the Senior Center side of the Otto Kaufman Center. Our school district is using a streamlined payment system called PaySchools Central, which is designed to make your payment experience quick, convenient, and efficient.
PaySchools Central offers a user-friendly platform where you can easily fund your students’ accounts, pay fees, and manage all school-related payments from one central location.

Genesis
Montgomery Township School District uses the district and school websites for general communications. In addition, MTSD also uses two other methods to deliver personalized electronic communications, Genesis Parent Access (also used by student accounts) and BlackboardConnect for mass email and phone notification.
The information you receive via Genesis Parent Access comes from Genesis, our Student Information System. Genesis Parent Access is designed to provide users with the ability to view:
- Basic student information, schedule, homeroom teacher, bus route
- Attendance Information
- Assignments and grades from the teacher Gradebook (applicable for grades 5-12)
- Marking Period Grades and Report Cards
For parent accounts, Genesis Parent Access is also designed to provide users with the ability to:
- Update your contact information
- Designate which phone number to receive text messages on
- Submit attendance notes
- Configure to receive notifications when portal is updated
If you do not have a Parent or Student Access account please e-mail Genesis Support (genesissupport@mtsd.us) with the following information:
- Parent Name
- Phone number (daytime)
- Parent e-mail address
- List for each student in the district:
- Student Last Name
- Student First Name
- Grade Level
- Birth Date
