Somerset County Park Commission: Camp Curiosity - Monday, June 22 - Friday, June 26, 2026
SPACE IS THE PLACE!
At Camp Curiosity, participants will explore the wonders of science and outer space. Have you ever wondered what it’s like in outer space? Are there aliens out there? At “mission control,” campers will learn what it takes to be an astronaut while engaging in fun and interactive activities.
Camp Curiosity is a weeklong program for individuals ages 10–16 with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, high-functioning autism, or mild intellectual disabilities. The program includes arts and crafts, individual and group games, nature activities, creative arts, and more.
Our goal is to provide participants with opportunities to develop recreation and leisure skills, build positive peer relationships, strengthen social skills, enhance confidence and self-image, and most importantly—have fun!
Camp Dates: Monday – Friday, June 22–26, 2026

Food Pantry
The Food Pantry is located at Otto Kaufman Community Center. It is located on the Senior Center side of the Otto Kaufman Center. Food Pantry visits, volunteers, and donations are by appointment only to protect the privacy of Pantry clients. 4-H Prep/Cloverbud Clubs Brochure
Attention children in grades K - 3, you can join 4-H! The Somerset County 4-H Prep/Cloverbud Program includes FREE, non-competitive, exploratory clubs led by volunteers.
Clubs typically meet 1-2x/month beginning in September through our 4-H Fair in August.
