Extending Distance Learning through April 9, 2020

March 20, 2020,

Dear Parents/Guardians, Students, and Staff,

We are extending our distance learning platform through April 9, 2020. Our staff will remain accessible by email for instructional purposes while the buildings are closed. Distance learning and electronic instruction is continuing. Spring Break is scheduled and remains April 10 through April 17, 2020.  As a reminder, the first emergency closing contingency day of April 9, 2020 was used Friday, March 13, 2020 for staff planning. I will inform you expeditiously if there are any changes to this schedule.

Thank you all for your support and cooperation during this unprecedented experience. Please be assured that while our students are working on their studies diligently at home, their teachers are monitoring them and responding to their questions and feedback.  Our counseling staff and administration can be contacted by email; please reach out if your child is in need of support services. District and school administrators are meeting remotely to monitor, discuss, assess and modify our educational plan, as needed. Our students’ education and welfare remain our highest priorities.

Our maintenance and custodial staff have been on site to disinfect and thoroughly clean our buildings in preparation for the return of our students and staff. They are taking the proper precautions in alignment with our district, state and federal guidelines to safeguard their health.

Thank you for your support!

Mary E. McLoughlin
