Message from BOE President and Acting Superintendent 4/24/2020
Dear Parents/Guardians and Staff,
We hope this message finds you well. Welcome back from spring break. We hope that you and your families enjoyed the respite from school work last week and have settled back into the distance learning routine. As you may have noted in individual communications from your respective schools / teachers, we have enhanced distance learning to include more options for students to interact with their teachers.
Since our last correspondence, Governor Murphy announced that we will continue with distance learning through May 15, 2020. We will disseminate updates to this information as we are notified. We understand everyone is eager to return to school and to some normalcy. However, we appreciate the patience, dedication, and commitment you all have shown in following the mandatory guidelines during this pandemic. We would like to acknowledge and thank our parents and students who have reached out to their teachers with expressions of appreciation. Many staff members have shared those messages with us as they have served to inspire community and togetherness.
As a reminder, our Kindergarten registration is open. Please see our district website for information on how to complete registration. Kid Connection information is also available.
Enjoy your weekend.
