IMPORTANT REMINDERS
The Main Entrance doors to LMS will open for students who are not arriving by bus at 7:45am. No student will be allowed to enter the building prior to 7:45 am.  At 7:45 a.m. students who are not arriving by bus will be allowed to enter the building through the Main Entrance doors and will wait in the Gym, seated six feet apart until 7:57 a.m. when they will be permitted to move to their Homeroom class.  Please click here for more important information regarding LMS Arrival and Dismissal ProceduresStudent Entry into the Building

Daily COVID Screening Form in Genesis Parent Portal

Starting immediately, students must once again fill out the COVID-19 Daily Screening form in genesis.  If your child arrives at school without a completed daily screening form, he or she will be sent to the Nurses office for screening. A parent/guardian will be contacted. If this is the first occurrence of an incomplete form, a school nurse will conduct an assessment of the student and temperature check; if the student is fever-free, the child will be permitted to remain at school after contact has been made with a parent/guardian. After the first occurrence of an incomplete form, you will be asked to pick your child up from the school and take him or her home.

Student Out of State Travel

For the health and safety of the MTSD community, it is recommended our families abide by The State of New Jersey’s travel advisory (travelers should quarantine for 10 days after travel). The advisory is no longer specific to certain states. Because of the rising number of case counts across all states, there is an increased risk of spread of COVID-19 upon return from any travel. If your student is traveling outside of the USA or to any state outside of the immediate area (PA, DE, NY, CT) for a duration longer than 24 hours in the last 10 days, please remain virtual for 10 calendar days upon return.
