We would like each fifth grade student to contribute an image that is black and white or sepia tone (brown). The photograph should be of family members who immigrated to the United States. Dates and country of origin can be included in a caption. Family member names are optional. Photographs can be from the United States or your heritage country. Photos can be in color. Family members should be in traditional dress, if possible.
We would like all parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers and family members to join the fifth grade students to celebrate our diverse heritages and unique attributes. Because of our differences and distinctive backgrounds, we live in a country that consists of people with rich and fascinating histories. Please join us at the Lower Middle School to celebrate this history and all that brings us together. We will have amazing projects, food, music, dancing and much more. Further details will follow in the upcoming months so make sure to check the school website and your children’s backpack for information.
