Meet the Administration Lower Middle School Mrs. Romano is a 27-year resident of Montgomery Township. All three of her children experienced their K-12 learning in our MTSD school system. Upon entering the field of education, Lisa taught at Montgomery Township’s Kid Connection for 5 years. Lisa joined Orchard Hill as a first grade maternity leave substitute teacher. Within a year, she became the Reading Teacher for Montgomery Middle School, grades 5-8. After working four years as a Reading Teacher, Lisa entered administration as the LMS/UMS Middle School Supervisor of Language Arts and Social Studies. Subsequent to serving 8 years in this role, Mrs. Romano, attained the position of Assistant Principal at Lower Middle School. Mrs. Romano is both thrilled and honored to serve in her new role as Principal of Lower Middle School.
In her free time, Mrs. Romano enjoys reading, bike riding with her husband, and walking her dog, Scooter, at Van Horne Park in Rocky Hill.
After graduation from the University of Scranton with his degree in education, Mr. Pachuta entered into the Bridgewater Raritan School District teaching at the intermediate level for over eight years. While at Bridgewater, Mr. Pachuta served as a teacher mentor, PTO teacher liaison, club advisor, and Achieve NJ representative. He is passionate about education and firmly believes the importance of Social and Emotional Learning. In 2012, Mr. Pachuta earned the Governor’s Teacher of the Year award along with his Masters in Educational Leadership. Mr. Pachuta worked as a vice principal at Montgomery High School for nine years before making the move to the Lower Middle School to serve as their vice principal beginning in 2023. Outside of LMS, Mr. Pachuta loves spending time with his wife, Krista, his son, Nolan, his daughter, Bailey, and his fox red lab, Riley.
