Montgomery Upper Middle School

Although we strongly encourage students to utilize the district provided bussing, we understand there are reasons students need to be personally dropped off or picked up on occasion. Our parent pick up and drop off area is located in the back of the building. The rear driveway dedicated for this traffic is narrow and led to frustrating and even dangerous traffic issues last year as we experienced an increased volume of personal transportation. As a result, we partnered with local law enforcement to seek solutions. We ask that you please adhere to the regulations found on signage and the directions stated below.

• In rear of building from 7:55am – 8:20am. After 8:20 (when buses have departed) students can be dropped off in front of building to check in at main office. Students arriving to homeroom after 8:20am are marked tardy.
• Students should exit car only when car is adjacent to sidewalk. Students should not cross the street under any circumstance and please do not pass any cars while in line.
• Right turns only out of rear driveway will be permitted during drop off and pick up hours.

Pick Up:

• In rear of building from 3:05pm – 3:20p.m. After 3:20 (when buses have departed) students can be picked up in main lot in front of building. 
• Students should load in car only when car is adjacent to sidewalk. Students should not cross the street under any circumstance and please do not pass any cars while in line.
• Right turns only out of rear driveway will be permitted during drop off and pick up hours.
• Lastly, when using the rear driveway please be courteous and SAFE. Thank you for your cooperation and consideration.

 Early Pick-Up:

• If you are picking your child up early (anytime before 3:05pm), you MUST come to the front of the school, ring the doorbell, and sign your child out with the main office staff.
