    We love to celebrate birthdays in Kindergarten.  If you would like to celebrate your child’s birthday, please send us an e-mail at least 3 days before the day.  This will help with planning the celebration.

    The celebration will last about 10-15 minutes.  We will begin by singing “Happy Birthday,” say a birthday chant and then read a birthday book.  Parents or family members are welcome to read the birthday book (book from home) to the class. We hope you will join our class on your child’s birthday. 

    Also, if you are planning a birthday party for your child, we cannot hand out party invitations unless all children are invited.  Please use the class friend finder for invitations if all children are not invited.
