        Students will be participating in a music class designed to develop music literacy and promote an appreciation for music through active music making. Your child will develop music skills and understanding through experiencing, then recognizing elements of music including rhythm, pitch, tempo, dynamics and form. Music activities include songs of various styles, from the American folk song tradition and around the world. Music learning experiences are varied and fun, incorporating singing games, classroom instruments, active listening, movement, and storytelling.
