LMS JAZZ BAND

The LMS Jazz Band is an auditioned group consisting of 6th grade students who play instruments that traditionally fit in a Big Band setting.  These instruments are the Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Drum Set, Bass Guitar or Double Bass/Upright Bass, Electric Guitar and Auxilliary Percussion. 

Students will be provided with an audition piece to perform and expected to play a Blues Scale.

Audition Dates and Materials to come in December.

Jazz Band rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays from 3:15-5:15pm.
