• Science Units

     

    The 5th grade Science curriculum is inquiry based and includes the following units:

     

    ·        Structure and Properties of Matter

    ·        Space Systems: Stars and the Solar System

    ·        Earth's Systems

    ·        Matter and Energy in Organisms and Ecosystems

     

    Students will conduct a variety of investigations.  They will use their Interactive Notebooks to become more involved with their learning.

     

    Right Side:  Students use the right side of their notebook for “input” or the information that they are learning from their teacher.

     

    Left Side:  Students use the left side their notebook for “output” or the student’s interaction such as predictions, questions and reflections.
