Welcome to 6th Grade Band.  I am Mr. Rabinowitz and I am looking forward to continuing the musical journey you have been navigating the past few years or the one you are about to begin.  

A little about me:  I hold a Bachelor's of Music Education from Rutgers University and a Master's in Orchestal Performance from Roosevelt University, Chicago, IL.  I have been playing  musical instruments since I was 10 years old.  I started on the Clarinet in 5th grade and eventually switched to the Trombone to play in Jazz Band.  My Band director then told me he needed a TUBA player and I was the guy.  I fell in love with Bass Lines and low melodies and the rest is history.

I have been teaching instrumental music in public schools since 2004, of which the last decade has been here in Montgomery.

My hope is to provide my students with a meaningful musical experience that keeps them interested in our subject as well as a desire to be better musicians.
