Welcome to the LMS Jazz Band Page.

The Jazz Band is a Big Band using the Saxophone (Alto, Tenor, Bari and in rare cases for this age Soprano) Trumpet, Trombone, Guitar, Bass Guitar or upright Bass, Piano, Drum Set and auxiliary percussion.  Auditions will be held in January and rehearsals will be on Tuesdays from 3:10p.m. to 4:40p.m.  The musical selections are aligned with 6th grade curriculum and are designed to give the youngest bands a basic understanding of different Jazz styles and moods.
