Students, as per the AP curriculum, view and analyze 250 works of art and architecture from around the world and from all time periods in an attempt to understand the history of the world through art and architecture. Students will learn about various societies, cultures, religions, and practices through these works of art and architecture while also making cross-cultural connections between works.

Students are expected to learn about and analyze the importance of various presidents and eras from the 1920s to modern day in American history. Students will write, create, and share ideas on various topics while also completing individual and group work. Students should be able to read and respond to individual work while also participating in whole class discussions and debates that challenge their own opinions and the opinions of others as we seek to understand how the USA ended up in the position that is in today based on the decisions made in the 20th and 21st centuries.
