MHS TEAMS: Recent Achievements

  • Congratulations to Montgomery High School TEAMS members for taking multiple top spots in state and national competition.

    TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science) is a STEM related club in which students work collaboratively to solve real-world engineering challenges and compete with students from other schools.  MHS hosted a virtual state competition on March 4, with forty local students divided amongst ten teams. The results of that competition are now tallied.

    • In the 9th and 10th grade division, MHS students swept all three top positions at the state level.
    • 3rd in state Annie Miao, Caroline Liu, Miranda Qing, and Anthony Zhai.
    • 2nd in state (ranked 8th nationally) Catherine Feng, Priyanka Chatterjee, Siddanth Pabba, and Jeffrey Qiu.
    • 1st in state (ranked 3rd nationally) George Cao, Caroline Zhao, Ishan Mungikar, and Rohan Athreya.

    In the 11th and 12th grade division, MHS students swept the top two positions at the state level.

    • 2nd in state (ranked 10th nationally)  Connor Li, Rohan Shah, Andrew Wan, and Rohit Amarnath.
    • 1st in state (ranked 5th nationally) Bonnie Chen, Sanjana Venkatesh, Tim Chen, and William Hou.
