Dr. Stacey Delbridge, Psy.D.

Dr. Stacey Delbridge is a longstanding member of the Montgomery High School community.  Stacey joined the MHS family in 2002 and was an integral member of the Child Study Team through June 2020.  Stacey possesses a Master's Degree in School Psychology from Teachers College Columbia University and a Doctorate in School & Clinical Child Psychology from Yeshiva University.  Stacey has extensive training and experience using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) within the school setting.  Additional professional training interests have included Trauma-Informed Care, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Crisis Management, and Executive Functioning.  Stacey is highly active within the professional school community as a member of the Trauma-Informed Leadership Team, Mental Health Committee, and Crisis Management Team.  Stacey works with staff to advocate for student needs, provide case-specific psychoeducation, and school/district-wide professional development opportunities.  Stacey is highly regarded for her communication, teamwork, problem-solving, crisis management, and leadership skills as they have allowed her to foster strong and effective relationships with school and community partners including families, staff, and outside agencies/professionals.  More importantly, Stacey is a fierce advocate for student needs and she prides herself on her ability to build rapport and establish trust with students, especially those who struggle to establish connections.  Stacey’s experience as a Child Study Team member puts her in a unique position to consider the multiple facets of student needs and understand the varied ways in which they can impact social, emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning.   Outside of school, Stacey is the proud mom of two teen girls.  Stacey and her husband enjoy supporting them in their activities, including dance, soccer, and theater.  Stacey was a former English major and enjoys reading, attending Broadway shows, crafting, and traveling – especially to Disney.  Stacey is excited to continue her work with students, families, and staff through her position in STARR!
