Mrs. Jacqui Rauchbach, MSW, LCSW, SSW
Mrs. Jacqui Rauchbach received her Masters in Social Work from New York University after attending Rutgers University where she studied Psychology and History. Jacqui is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), School Social Worker (SSW), Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) and certified in Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI). Jacqui comes from a strong mental health background drawing on various experiences working at Carrier Clinic, Princeton House, Summit Oaks Hospital, her own private practice in East Brunswick, and most recently with Rutgers University School-Based Program in South Brunswick High School. Throughout her career, Jacqui has honed in on the skills of rapport building, crisis intervention, de-escalation, referrals for higher levels of care, suicide assessment, group counseling, individual/family counseling, psychoeducation, and managing relationships with co-workers. Jacqui uses a trauma lens when working with her students, which helps her to understand their maladaptive behaviors and then select the approach that will be most effective. When implementing therapy, Jacqui finds trust and safety to be paramount building blocks in gaining results. Jacqui utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and some Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as her skills of empathy, communication, humor, organization, teamwork, and self-care to remain a trusted and reliable support for students, families, and staff. Jacqui lives in Somerville with her husband and 2 boys. Jacqui enjoys painting, reading, going to the beach, cooking, baking, travel, yoga, and Disney.
