    Dear MHS Counselors,

As a current freshman at Boston College, I have tried to reflect on the impact my four years at Montgomery High School (2009-2013) left on me. Without question Montgomery's academics and the availability of teachers and faculty to help students has helped me tremendously in my first semester at BC. Many of the fellow freshmen here are not used to a challenging workload and never learned how to properly study in high school. MHS gave all its graduates the tools to succeed at the college level.

Beyond academics, the generally warm and friendly environment at MHS prepared me for college life because the social skills I learned at MHS both consciously and subconsciously got me ready to transition into living with roommates and meeting new people every day. Looking back, my years at MHS were the best of my life so far and I cannot thank everyone there enough for making high school special and also for preparing me for the great adjustment of moving on to college.

    Sincerely,
    Anthony Iati
