    Kelly Apel received her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from The College of New Jersey, where she served as the President of Chi Sigma Iota, TCNJ's counseling honors society. Prior to joining the staff at Montgomery High School in 2009, Mrs. Apel worked at Bridgewater-Raritan High School.  
     
    Mrs. Apel graduated from Ursinus College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Economics, with a minor in Spanish.  While at Ursinus, Mrs. Apel was a member of the Ursinus softball team as a catcher and third baseman. Mrs. Apel has been involved with many aspects of the MHS community through coaching swimming, softball, advising Student Council, organizing swim meets, and assisting with the Peer Leadership program. Outside of MHS, Mrs. Apel enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her husband and two children.
